LOMBARD SUMMER SLUGFEST WOODEN BAT TOURNAMENT JUNE 9th - 11th PLAN TO ARRIVE ONE HOUR PRIOR TO GAME TIME (TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE) FRIDAY JUNE 9th 5:30 PM vs. PALATINE TRAVELLERS MONTINI HS SUNDAY JUNE 11th All Teams have
been seeded based upon the results of the Friday games. Top four seeds based
upon runs allowed and then runs scored received a first round bye. All teams
will play a minimum of 3 games for the tournament. 1st

limit is reduced to 2 hours. No inning or half inning can begin after 2 hours
from game start. Please
note: There is no tournament parking
allowed on Sunday in the Willowbrook HS parking lot.
All vehicles must park behind the Villa Oaks Shopping Center. Entrance to the
Shopping Center parking lot is on Roosevelt Rd. on either side of Bally’s
Fitness Center, or on Ardmore Ave. directly north of Simon’s Restaurant. Go to
the NorthEast corner of the shopping center to get to the parking lot behind the
stores. There is a gate at the East end of the lot to give access to the
Willowbrook Baseball Field.

TEAM DETERMINED BY COIN FLIP.
2 HOUR TIME LIMIT.- NO INNING OR HALF-INNING MAY BEGIN AFTER 2 HOURS OF
GAME START. EXTRA HITTER (EH) IS OPTIONAL. EH IS CONSIDERED A POSITION PLAYER AND MAY ROTATE WITH ANY PLAYER ON THE FIELD. DESIGNATED HITTER (DH) OPTIONAL FOR ANY POSITION PLAYER. DH MAY REPLACE ONLY THE PLAYER HE IS BATTING FOR. TIED
GAMES AFTER 7 INNINGS WILL USE MODIFIED TIE-BREAKER UNTIL THERE IS A WINNER.
LAST OUT FROM PREVIOUS INNING WILL BE PLACED AT 2nd BASE TO BEGIN EACH INNING.
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WILL PLAY STANDARD EXTRA INNING FORMAT. PINCH
RUNNER FOR PITCHER & CATCHER IS OPTIONAL AT ANY TIME, MANDATORY FOR CATCHER
WITH 2 OUTS.
